About

Hello! My name is Zoë Walkenhorst—A few things about me:

I love a good soundtrack. I love a good font. I am for all kinds of lists, boards, and decks. I am for creating more than you consume. I am for work that inspires, connects, compels, challenges, makes you feel seen, and makes you feel inspired all over again.
Most of all, I am for work that doesn’t feel like work—work that feels like art.

As far as the technical stuff goes,

I am currently a student at the University of Oregon studying advertising and public relations within the School of Journalism and Communication. My lifelong passion for writing and artistic expression inspires me to write with sincerity and dimension. Whether working with written or visual media, connecting with an audience is invariably at the center of my work. I’m eager to gain experience working alongside and learning from fellow creatives in the public relations and advertising field.

My undergraduate minor in indigenous, race and ethnic studies helps to inform my cross-cultural communication skills and approach to strategy. Creatively, much of my artistic expression is grounded in cultural study and themes of intersectionality. My innate and academic interest in ethnocultural frameworks further motivates my desire to bring personality and genuine interaction to spheres of marketing and media relations.

Whether my role calls for strategy, artistry or both, my commitment to producing intentional work drives me to create meaningful messages that resonate.
